phone listing

Now that the year is about to end, we receive a notice from the telecom company where we are listed and informed us on their directory submission deadline, like if we still wanted to be included on their next year's directory list. Mom immediately agrees on that and asked me to fill up the yes box and have it submit on our next monthly paying schedule, but I, on the other hand cannot seem to find the importance of that, well, we do not have any business or any offerings to the public so I guess we can keep our number private for the whole world to see, and just give it to those who just needs to contact us or something, am I right?! I really think so.
