roof done!

Usually, my dad has a project whenever he comes home for vacation. It's actually his way of making sure priorities are taken care of one at a time. And for his last vacation project, he had the family's house slate tile or slate roofing done. But would you believe that this looks-like-a-simple-project is plain easy to do, it's actually not! It actually took the hired roof maker almost a month to finish the installation and all. It wasn't that easy to measure, cut, install and screw roof! But after the long wait, it has come to an end and voila, new look for our little house! Pretty points was given after what, having the usual kind of roofing for almost a decade and now, finally the house's mane is new and fab!
Anyways, if given a chance to build our own dream house someday, I would love to have the same roofing design for our house, I just can't seem to imagine what color looks great aside from red/maroon. Better check this ever famous Virginia Slate and see their great work:D
