If you happens to have a two kid in tow, I suggest you better get one of those customized beds complete with memory foam toppers for them. As from my experience, my sister and I grew up sharing this kind of bed, although compare to the bunk beds nowadays, ours was kind of bulky and plain/dull looking, but nevertheless, definitely sturdy! we actually out grew that bed and it was handed over to our cousins. Anyways, going back to the available looks of bunk beds today, now it's more on the stylish side, basically the colors are now louder and the edges are not the basic stereo-type and all. And the ones being offered today are actually multi-functional! it has build in cabinets and some have pull-out beds that can accommodate another person! perfect for slumber party of your kids! The thing is, sometimes I wonder why our bunk bed were not as playful as to what is in now. Probably if the one we have is loudly colored and was sort of jazz up and all, most probably I'd have that thing treasured and who knows, we might just use it for our future kids too! Though we can have that thing modified or something, oh well, we'll probably just buy since it's kind of cheap from www.foambymail.com
